A few random things...

Last Saturday Hoppy & Mimi came to visit...we grilled out and had a nice evening together. This was our "reschedule" from Father's Day since we didn't make it up there with the horrible traffic

Jack was pretty fussy for some reason...I think a tooth has to be on its way soon!
This is such a nice picture of Hunter & Mimi (minus the yogurt on his face)
We put Jack in the pool on Monday night. He had a lot of fun splashing in the water.

What a nice big brother trying to dump water on Jack's head. We used hose water and then dumped hot water from inside in the pool to warm it up for Jack. My kids are white as ghosts!

I can't wait till they can start playing even more

Tuesday after work I took Hunter for a haircut. He got a sucker and still had not finished it when we got home. Chopper had a few licks too. You have to give the kid credit for sharing.
Chopper got a hold of it and then Hunter was crying b/c the dog had a death grip on the sucker.
He eventually got it back and stuck it back in his mouth. I know most people would be grossed out by this, but oh well! I have loosened up quite a bit as you can see--haha.
We got this double umbrella stroller last weekend. It is really light and easily to take in and out of the car (in comparison to our other double stroller). I wanted it for this vacation, so I finally picked one out. Would you believe we have 6 strollers? Two double ones, jogging, infant carseat travel system one, and two single umbrella strollers? One of the umbrella ones just broke and we threw it out, so now we're down to 5--haha. I need to try to sell the jogging one and big double one on craigslist--add it to my list of to-do's! I really like this one though and think we'll get lots of use from it. I was worried Hunter would be mean to Jack, but so far so good.

Heather's Baby Shower

Sunday my Mom, Sister Emily, Cousin Connie and I threw a baby shower for my cousin's wife, Heather. It was at my mom's house and we had a really nice time. There were supposed to be about 20 people there but several random things happened and only about 15 or so made it.
I wish I looked this good when I was pregnant!! haha.

My cousin Connie, aunt Rhonda, cousin Joey, and his wife Heather.

Emily was "sick" in bed the whole time, so when Jack fell asleep we stuck him with her. He slept for a good two hours. She said she had food poisoning....or a hangover? hhmmmm. haha.

This gave everyone a good laugh. I'd seen them before on someone's registry. Now all I need to do is come up with one idea as ridiculous as this and I'll be rich!

Heather opening gifts
Joey (my cousin)...he doesn't even know what is about to hit him in another couple of months!

Connie and Baby Jack
My mom and my great-aunt Connie (she lives in CA and is here fore 3 weeks visiting family)

Something to make you smile

I have lots of stuff to post about from the weekend, but it's been busy and here is something to hopefully brighten your Monday. It makes me smile every time I see this baby. Although him waking up three times between 11pm-5am last night does not make me happy!

Hunter & Jack's week in pictures (with a few comments)

Hunter had a really fun week and here are some of the highlights--in reverse order!
Today Monica took Hunter and Jack to Buhr Park pool. She met another friend who watches a two year old boy, so Hunter had fun playing with him. I just love when Monica takes pictures so I can see how much fun they are having! Although today I was jealous as I walked outside around 11am and headed back to work after an appointment...it was beautiful and I was jealous knowing the kids were at the pool! He's such a cutie pie!

Hanging out at the pool

Monica and Baby Jack

Isn't this the funniest picture? I just love it!
Apparently he was worn out after a morning at the pool :)
Thursday we went to the Dollar Store to find a few things to do for fun. We got some new puzzles, books about God, and some fun pool stuff for our upcoming trip. I don't know what I was thinking, but I thought these styrofoam swords would be fun. I have a feeling they won't last long, but it's been fun having "sword fights" so far!
I am the best "train maker". Nick has nothing on me! I love when Jack takes naps and Hunter and I can have some time alone together to play.
I met my friend Hillary and her son, Jackson, at My Urban Toddler this week too.
Jackson is thinking, "kid, get your arm away from me!"

They took turns pushing each other around in this cart

Monica took them to Domino's Petting Farm on Tuesday (I think?)

No joke, all this baby does is smile when he's awake.

Hunter also got to feed a baby calf with a big bottle. Monica said he LOVED it!
They also went to the pool Monday, but the camera battery was dead. Hunter also had a new class on Wednesday called In & Out. They didn't get to go outside this week b/c it was raining, but hopefully next week. This is his last class through First Steps b/c he will start pre-school in the fall. Then we'll get to start taking Jack to his very own class while Hunter is in school. It will be fun for Jack to get some one on one time b/c that doesn't happen very often. As you can see, the kids had a fun & busy week! They've been sleeping really good as I'm sure the fresh air wears them out :)

He's so sweet!!

I love that smile :)

He was standing up on the seat looking over the edge of the boat...he loved looking at the water and trees blowing. He's such a happy baby :)
