A little bit of catch up

Grandpa had this out at the lake and took Hunter for a ride :)
Hunter and Tyler fishing at Rhonda's. Those two are scary with hooks, worms, and casting.
Hunter's Kindergarten graduation...they went up on stage and sung the cutest song!

Jack with Big D (nick's stepdad). They came to visit this weekend for Nick's birthday :)

We had some family and friends over for a bbq on Saturday to celebrate Nick's birthday. Being the good wife that I am, I got him a UM helmet signed by Lloyd Carr. I also got him a new belt and some Bose quiet headphones which I am already regretting...I can't get his attention for anything unless I hit him or throw something at him. They really do work!

GLTW year end party

The kids got out of school last Thursday and Friday night they had a 25 year celebration at their school which was also their year-end party. The kids had a great time!
Hunter and his bff, Aruis. They are both staying at GLTW next year, but I'm guessing teachers will split them into different classrooms!
Hunter is willing to try anything and everything! I was so proud of him for trying this. It was hard, but he did pretty well for only being five years old!
The kids next to him were all 2nd and 3rd graders.
He was SO excited about this. He was doing tons of flips and having a great time!!

 No fear!
Jack getting ready for his turn :)
Jack was probably under the weight limit and with the bands, his toes barely touched the trampoline, but the volunteer was super nice and kept giving him a sling shot back up into the air. He loved it too!

One full week of school off under our belts. They have been to the pool, splash pad, Jungle Java (twice!), Domino's Petting Farm, and more! Lucky kiddos fully enjoying summer so far. We have summer camps, vacation bible school, and much more later this summer too :)

A few funny things...

Hunter went to a cowboy themed birthday party last weekend at Domino's Petting Farm and got a bandanna. Nick tied it on like this and both kids wanted to take turns...I wasn't sure I would be able to get it back from them, but they gave it up.

Silly Jack...no pants, soccer jersey, and his bandanna...and his new face he insists on making while I take his picture. Not cool.
Our tough little man--he LOVES flag football!

Yes, the face again...ahhhhhh. Thanks to Hunter for teaching him that.
My three boys hanging out before bed on Sunday night. Notice Jack making the face again.
 hahahaha.
Last night Hunter had three of his little neighborhood friends over to play bball. Later when he was getting ready for bed I said, "You are pretty lucky to have so many boys that are neighbors". He said he was so glad they weren't all girls. I asked why. He said "because girls are boring. They would just want to hang out and do dumb stuff all day." Whatever you say kiddo, but I don't think so! I don't know where he comes up with this stuff!!
