U of M Marching Band Practice--sort of

Last Saturday evening we went with two other family friends (Dupreys and Fatts) to Elbel Field. I'd heard that it was fun to take the family to watch the band practice and let the kids play at the field. Unfortunately, it was not quite what I thought it was going to be...maybe we should try again once the season starts. The band wasn't really playing music--more formation type stuff. We still had fun hanging out and anything we can do to wear the kids out is worth it--haha. We also went to Washtenaw Diary for ice cream afterwards. This is the best ice cream in town, hands down!

Giving high-five--or trying...hard to get a good picture of two boys at this age :) Michael is about one month older than Jack and such a cutie--I can't wait for them to grow up together and be buddies. Jacque (Michael's mom) and I are in the same mom's group, so our boys will be in the same "class" starting in a few weeks--can't wait!

Michael is going to be a big brother in a few short months :)
Jack was not going for hugs from Hunter
Hunter and Mason. Mason is so good at "saying cheese"...
Jack and Michael running around playing with balls

The marching band practice.

I thought it was funny that we have two boys--both of the other moms with us are pregnant and both having boys. They are probably scared to have a second boy after seeing what it's like for us managing two crazy boys!

Hope you are having a good Labor Day Weekend. Ours has been a little crazy, but that's another post in itself.
