I'm glad it's Friday...Nick and I are in Grand Haven for the weekend. We come home Sunday and my parents are with the kids. We need some r&r and time away from our kids...that sounds mean, but it's kind of true. The other day on the way to school I was telling Hunter "Mommy and daddy are going away for the weekend, but you'll have fun with Nana and Grandpa". He was like, "but I really want to go with you!" I had to gently explain that sometimes mommy's and daddy's need time alone.
Anyway, we stopped at the casino and won $400 ($200 each) in an hour, so it's off to a good start. haha. Can't wait to sleep in tomorrow (sorry mom)...Hunter was in our room at 5:45am this morning.
