On Sunday we had some of Nick's family over to celebrate his dad's birthday. We ended up going in with Mark and Brandie to get them a night at Soaring Eagle hotel, dinner, and some gambling money. They are excited and I'm happy he liked his gift! It was a special birthday, but I won't mention any numbers :)
Hunter helped me make Hoppy's birthday cake...he loved licking the beaters as evidence shows on his face.

Whenever we have cake for a birthday, Hunter thinks it's for him and that we are singing to him. It's so cute, but most adults are fine letting him help blow out the candles :)
Mimi, Nick, Jack, Hoppy, Hunter, Mark and Brandie. At a MOPS meeting in the spring we talked about how us moms are never in the pictures b/c we are always taking pictures...so true! Oh well.
Tomorrow we are having several families over for the weekend to go to the football game. Friday night there will be 6 houseguests and Saturday 8 houseguests...it's going to be a zoo, but so much fun. One family is from Texas and the other two from Baltimore--they were Nick's college roomates. We are all going to the game (minus kids), so I hope the weather cooperates.
